I began The Reclaiming Your Sexy Community was established in 2009 after a life changing trip to Salvador De Bahia, Brazil as a college student. I returned to my school, The University of Illinois at Chicago and invited a commuity of Black & Brown Womxn, Non Binary Femmes and Non-POC Allies to join me in exploring healing our bodies and understanding of our sexuality through Samba. That practice quickly evolved and took on a beautiful life of it's own. Through erotic dance, reflection and a commitment to healing sexual shame we sought out ways to embody the erotic in a way that felt decadent, wild and restorative mind,body and spirit. I hope to bring this same energy into our conversations and that you walk away after each letter feeling decadent, wild and restored.
